VACATION HOMES
“When we go to the TONE Forest, no matter what house we book, we know it will be clean, well-supplied, and comfortably familiar.”
Enjoy quiet getaways in comfortable vacation homes
TONE Forest Recreation Association members have access to five year-round vacation homes, a timber-framed pond-side cabin, an off-grid hunting cabin, and a day room for day trips. Members enjoy the benefits of a vacation home without the hassle and expense. Many use the houses for gatherings with groups of friends and multiple generations of family, business retreats, or simply, a solitary getaway.
Each home has two to five bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, mud room entry and at least one full bathroom. Year-round enjoyment is ensured with screened porches for summer evenings, wood stoves or fireplaces for cozy winter nights, and spectacular woodland and valley views. The homes can comfortably sleep at least four people and some as many as ten. Every home is equipped with Wi-Fi as well as those old-time forms of family entertainment: books, games and puzzles. Staples, linens and outdoor cooking facilities are provided at each house.
The cabins offer an off-grid, carry-in, carry-out experience for our more adventurous members. The Day Room includes a full bathroom with shower for members who are on the property for day trips or camping.
Two resident managers live on site to oversee the property and maintain the houses and recreational facilities.
See below for details.
